Troll from Reaper (Bones)
« on: November 29, 2013, 10:41:11 PM »
Thought I'd give Reaper Bones a second chance when I found this troll at one of the local shops.

It was a pleasure to paint, but was a pain to clean first.

And with Sgt. Scale :)

Excellent job on the troll! I really like your choice of color, too.

The flesh tones are OUTSTANDING...considering the amount of exposed flesh, that makes the mini. GREAT WORK!

Great work. I've had a Reaper bones werewolf sitting around for 12 months or so. This makes me think I should give him a lick of paint to see how he turns out.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Sweeeeet

The grey and pink go well together and the black rim around the pustules is ace.  Base aint bad either.

I'd not seen him before - I have the one with a big club but not this one - must not buy - must not - must...

Very nice, and thanks for this - this mini is on a shortlist for the role of Grendel, but I was wondering about the size. Next to the Space Marine I can see very well indeed how big he is. Thanks again.
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!
