1914 French
« on: June 01, 2008, 08:42:36 PM »
I’ve posted those two pics under the "latest minis received" topic earlier today. I’ve post them here too as I think it might interest some peoples.

Those are Great War Miniatures figures.

Cheers!  ;)

nice and colourful - I would'nt like to be sent out in the trenches wearing red & blue. Speaking of which your trenches look good too

Super work on the new GWM Frenchies  8)

Hows the command group coming along and what are you plans for this collection?

Best wishes,
Helen

...Hows the command group coming along and what are you plans for this collection?

I’ve already got 3 blisters of Infantry Advancing and I’m planning on buying 3 of the new Advancing in Full Equipment blisters.

I also have an Officers and NCOs blister. They are being prepared at the moment… sadly, the blister was missing a "rifle and hand" part for one of the NCO…  :?

I will also buy one or two machine gun pack when they became available. That should give me a reasonable force for To the Last Men rules.

Next on the list is German infantry, Command and MG Teams to match those French.

...Speaking of which your trenches look good too

The trench section on witch those figures are standing is about 6” X 6”. It’s a test I’ve made to see what I could do for an early war terrain were there’s still a lot of vegetation with freshly dig trenches and scarce shell holes.

Thanks for your kind comments.

Cheers!  8)

I think the great war minis are the best early war french on the market. And you manage to paint it really well.
