Need help with identifying a building manufacturer
« on: December 08, 2013, 05:35:51 PM »
I have found this cool building, which I would like for my Zanzibar Slavers, on this nice site http://historicalhobbies.com/DOGS/main/cppages/Darkest1.htm

Can someone please help me where to get it?

lol Yes it does a bit...but if you look at pictures of the forts in many areas of the world that were quickly and cheaply built, then used for hundreds of years with little repair they end up looking exactly like sandcastles  ;)

So since it is "my" website (about to get an update and changed to "blog style") I can answer the question Thorwin, its from the playschool Pirate set I think? If you can find it it contains A LOT of cool pieces for conversion work usable in colonial or pulp games. It had a few small pirate boats, cannons, and other items, including the tower. I built the base and walls out of sculpy and then textured the hole thing. So as a off the shelf building its not. I'll try and remember and send a link to the set in the next few weeks if I can, busy with lots of xmas stuff now!

Here is a "Dhow" created from the set.
