Who's your daddy?
« on: December 07, 2013, 11:42:42 PM »

Some of the locals just dropped in.

15mm Khurasan Mantoids with a 28mm Reaper ehm...something. I'd noticed the smaller ones looked like they would be a nymph stage for the bigger one so hey presto. Multiscale as usual, 15mm/20mm/28mm they'd do fine, 6mm if I wanted to get really nasty

Started these on monday straight from the bag, amazed myself I managed to get em done this fast.

Those are really cool. Nice catch in the similarity between sculpts.

Nice combo.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Very nice match on the models.

Does the big guy have beady little red eyes under that head armour?

Nice work, wayswatcher! Well spotted, that they work together this well! Any games in mind that you're planning to use them for? Or is this part of your plan to finish quite a chunk of the lead pile?

YPU, yes, he has red eyes as well.

Raz, yes, all part of a massive splurge to get as much done as possible in what little spare time I have. Since I can't afford any more new stuff that is popably for the best as well.
