Has anyone considered using Model Railroad people in O Scale as a less expensive alternative for Pulp/Noir figures?  I was thinking of looking into them.

I've looked at some on occasion, but they generally seem pretty bland. There's also the issue of their being "correctly" proportioned.

Fram,
Agreed, the proportions are different.  I would consider using them rather than any wargame figures for a Noir type game.  Some are indeed quite bland, others are much better.

It used to be West Wind, but they only seem to stock the Supersystem rules now, not the figures.

Pulp worthy 20mm from Force20 Fine Scale Miniatures...

Port of Call DS-01

G-men, Gangsters and Spies DS-02

Explorers DS-03

Some of the other historical packs, such as the "Mehalla", and various ultramodern packs are quite suitable depending upon the scenario. All available from TableTopScale.com and Elheim Figures.

Cheers,

Well, there are those that would argue that 20mm is the one true scale for WWII, Moderns, etc... That's what keeps this hobby interesting! Have you ever considered putting those 28mm metal fellows in really hot water and seeing if they would shrink down to 20mm? That could really expand the possibilities.

Curiosity mandates I ask how many other 20mm pulp enthusiasts are out there?
