Gypsy Caravan?
« on: December 20, 2013, 02:17:27 PM »
I've been looking to build a Gypsy Caravan in 25mm/28mm for many years, but I've never thought to ask you all about what you may have found available so far.  Any help would be appreciated!

WANTS
  • 4-5 Gypsy trailers/wagons
  • A couple dueling knife fighters
  • Various gypsies in traditional garb sitting around a fire, standing, cooking, etc..
  • Gypsy dancers (got a couple suitable from Reaper)

IDEAS
  • West Wind does a wagon and a few gypsies in their vampire wars range, but they all seem to be in fighting mode ie brandishing pitchforks and other weapons.  They may have one suitable wagon.
  • Reaper does a couple dancers that would work for gypsies as mentioned above
  • I've seen some O/S scale MDF wagons that may work

Any suggestions?

BigB,

Check here for Sarissa Precisions Gypsy Caravan, not up on their website yet but looks rather neat IMHO.

That Thread helped a great deal.  I even found my knife fighters.

Thanks to all!

Also, the O-scale version of this should work as well: http://www.g-m-e.com/images/gme%20gypsy%20wagon%20web.jpg

Foundry do loads of Cossacks that would make good gypsy's if you go on ebay and search under Copplestone theres stacks.

Theres also some reaper girls that would do the job as well.
