1st figures for Crom
« on: January 05, 2014, 07:24:05 AM »
I recently finished my 1st figures for Matakishi's Crom game (http://www.wargamevault.com/product/108246/Crom).  The figures are GW's Lord of the Rings Uruk Hai Beserkers.
I just trimmed off the little cross piece at the end of the sword & painted them in Caucasian skin tones.    I'll be using them as kind of degenerate temple guards.

Here's the original GW paint job

This is the 1st time I tried making my own stone floor using putty that I then scored.  I tried a single color dark grey & light grey with a wash (the outer 2 bases), but I liked the middle 2-tone floor the best where I used both colors.

Remember, remember, the Dalek December
With Paris in ruins and London in ember
In times of the future when fears are abating
Don’t try to forget them, the Daleks are waiting
Quietly planning and scheming and hating…

remind me of the berserkers from the "Beast master".
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.
