Are you doing the sculpting?  If so, can we see what else you have done?  If not, who is committed to sculpt these figures?

Target size of figures?

Any more detailed sketches/drawings of what you think would be the appearance of the figures?

Will some survivors and scavengers have melee weapons (cricket bats, garden utensils, kitchen knives, crowbars, clubs, etc.,) instead of automatic pistols/revolvers/long arms?

Edit:  Will they be dressed for today (20xx) or past decades (1950s, 1960s, 1970s, etc.,) in your design of characters?

Gracias,

Glenn

I like the idea and had a look at the Kickstarter page but to be totally honest having seen the first greens I don't think I would support it.

that too for me I'm afraid, whilst the greens are way better than I could ever do, they don't look professional quality to sell, admittedly that hasn't stopped lots of companies so.....

I agree about the sculpts... but at a pound a figure they aren't badly priced.
Overal, I'd be interested but probably won't back unnless some of the additional packs were unlocked.  I'm also aware that wessex were murmuring about doing something with the urban beat range tthis year, although what and when remains to be seen...

I love the concept of post apocalyptic UK but I cant say I am much of a fan of the greens or the concept art.

The concept art is not very detailed at this point in time, certainly not considering you are soliciting peoples money .

Also I hope that considering its set in the UK that melee weapons are far more common than guns.

Best of luck though.

I would say your pieces would need to be as good as if not better than the range offered by Offensive miniatures.

Well thank you for the feedback people.

I think the poor sculpts comments, may have been down to my poor pictures rather than the sculpts, so I have added some new pictures in the hope to amend this.  :)   If not well each to his own.

I going to launch later to night, so if you want to pledge if not thank you for your time.  :)

 Hi James

Just seen the new pictures. The one of the officer is much better but the other one with mask looks very distorted.

Looking at the pledge levels you have I can see this being a problem for you.The pledge for £5 for five figures and the bonus one is very cheap. When you figure in the cut that KS will take then postage and packaging it will not leave you with much. That is for the UK one's too.If the pledge goes to the US you are looking at £3.50 postage at least.I have seen that other countries need to add £1.00 but that is no way enough. So if a £5.00 pledge goes to the US they add on £1.00 extra for a total of £6.00.£3.50 is taken off straight away for postage then the KS %.What you have left is to cover sculpting,Mould making and casting.I just dont see it working myself.

Not sure if others are thinking the same thing.

I would seriously do some number crunching and re-think it all.

Good luck with this and I hope my thoughts are of use.

 Cheers

 Andy C.

Btw what made you go for the L1A1 over the L85A2 which is standard issue to the UK Armed forces or the L98 if you wanted the single shot version the Cadets use. Both would probably be easier to get hold of in the UK than the L1A1 unless I am mistaken.

I wanted them to look different from both the police and the British army, so decided to pick an older rifle.

Should be up and running soon.
