Yes, cast, you would probably have a market for those. What really impresses me is that you didn't take the easy route and use existing bits from models of Grants or M3 Stuarts. That you even fabricated the running gear from scratch is totally bonkers but in a good way.

Really interesting!

Just.. why dont you use some silicon rubber? it's quite cheap (well, it's not cheap, but given the amount you need, a 20-30$ box should be more than enough) and allows you to have much finer details! And it looks less like a caramel-sweet!

I use latex for my mould making as that is what I know and what I have (had) available.  I find more expensive materials (like a $30 jar of silicone) languish on my workbench far beyond the useful life life of the product. I am reluctant to commit  a detailed scratchbuilt part to the rigours of moulding if I am not reasonably confident of getting some usable parts. Also I don't really have a (local) market for reproduced items so I don't usually need more than one or two of a part.  I think I made 12 bogie units which is about 10 more than I usually make of anything!

Well, Latex molds ain't half bad, but with silicon you can achieve a better result. When it's about buying new materials, i try to think about the time i'm gonna spend on a project. sometimes a project simply doesn't deserve such an investment, sometimes it does.

Besides, the satisfaction of having something cast and sold is something that worth try!
