our GorkaMorka campaign
« on: January 06, 2014, 10:36:26 AM »
After we saw the GoMo pics from Berlin we recently started a GorkaMorka campaign ourself. Normally we are only six players that meet nearly every friday but for this project we found some additional players from our friends so that we have 10+ gamers with their Gorka, Morka, Digga and Rebelgrot mobs.

Because we only have a small gaming table we are forced to play not only the mostly vehicle based original scenarios but to find new ways to play with 6 players on a 1,2x1,2m table.
Last friday we played such a scenario in a small orc town called Nu'Ork with six players and their mobs.

Here are some pics of the game including the scenrey that we recently built, but I will update this thread with the new stuff we build!

I think you will find 'da rulez' and 'da uvver book' on the GW-US site, but the 'digganob' book is also for download on various forums/sites.

Great setup. I still haven't got round to putting my orc/ork alter ego, Gutbukkit in to GorkaMorka. This kinda thread is just the inspiration I need. Keep those pics coming.

I'd love to, but I don't have too many pics at the moment!
I can only show you some of our first game and some WIP shots of the stuff I painted for GoMo.

my Morka Mob 'Da Notnägelz' (I painted them all the night before the game...)

Morkas fighting DAK-Gorkas and Tankgirl-Diggas

WIP of the 'Orky Twista' (I used an old WildWest building of mine to fasten things a bit)

the Riot Gr'ts I painted for my brothers christmas present

:-* fantastic stuff and :o painted night before the game! Even more amazing cos of that. Buildings look great. Using Wild West buildings as a base is a good idea. Thanks for posting more pretty pictures.

Cheers, I did indeed manage to find and download 'da rulez' and 'da uvver book'.

Looks like a brilliant game for scenery bashing and troop personalization, especially since its orky and they will do just about anything haha...

Yep, that really is the best! It's so much fun to build stuff for Gorkamorka!

I have only have a small update before our weekly game tomorrow, some roadsigns or markers

And a WIP of a new house that I started for our Metro/PostApo project but will now be finished to match the rest of my orky stuff.

Brilliant! I used to love GM, even if we did play on the cork tiles in the living room with unpainted minis! I can't even remember the terrain we used but suffice to say I'd've bee drooling over as set up like this as a kid. :-*
