New dollies for Mutton Chop Miniatures
« on: January 09, 2014, 01:24:49 PM »
It's been a while since I sculpted something for my own Mutton Chop range. With the birth of our daughter Lily we needed  a range that would help with the bills and could hopefully mean that Lily would be cared by myself and Kerry. So I chose a range I wanted to do for a long time in my own style and pack selection. It's a period I first ever converted a Tamiya figure to way back in 1988 after buying my first ever Osprey book.

Well this is the start of those new figures from over Christmas. Any guesses of what they could be?:).
The dollies also have great uses for the current Mutton Chop range as well other Inter-War British . These will go to the mould makers real soon and I look forward to getting stuck in.

Err, British, erm, Great War...  ;) Dismounted cav?

Lovely sculpting as usual Mr. Hicks.

Will be interesting to follow. I've realised that a lot of models I like, regardless of manufacturer, have been sculpted by you. :)

Agreed. In light and storm trooper kit with lots of grenades.  :D

My idea is to first start with the BEF and Early War Germans. Once they are done I want to progress to later forms of kit. Really looking forward to this project.

Em dezembro de '81

Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo

Sounds good. I liked the stuff you initially did for Bill, just needed alot more variety in troops/poses. And some Germans...  ;)

These look like they'll be very nice indeed. As an aside , the Viet Minh you are doing for Red Box look amazing, I was thinking about getting some for the later conflict and using them as VC with obsolete weapons. Ever thought about doing a Vietnam range, I'll bet they would be immensely popular!
