Nice to see these out in the open.

Trent have a good range, spoiled slightly by the gaps, but good all the same. I have their French consular guard, artillery and heavy cav and their Austrian foot, artillery and dragoons. They match in well with Front Rank and Victrix IMHO too. Full of character as you say, especially the rascally looking French!

That was the best I could find, this is not something that you can find in books, even French ones.....

In terms of sculpting, the Trent infantry are mostly good though a couple of them seem to have forfeited their necks but the dragoons look positively weird with extremely odd proportions : they look more like dwarves on ponies with their oversized heads and barrel torsos.

At the risk of sounding like a snob, I'd rather go with the better proportioned and more elegant Eureka French revolutionary range, though the figures are admittedly much more expensive.

For those like me seeking French Revolutionary War flags, and later, a link ~
http://www.drapeaux.org/Accueil.htm
Scroll down and choose France.
They need to be resized for printing.

For Arthur, each to their own, but Eureka figs are far too delicate for my old eyes and MUCH to expensive for my wallet.
