I love what you've done with it, fantastic painting. If I ever paint mine I may steal your scheme :)

For some reason I find the bendiness of the Bones offputting, so I've not managed to finish any at all :(
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Very nicely done. As I'm probably the only one who didn't get in on the original Bones KS (on Bones 2 I did pledge for the GOO they come up with but that was it) I'm going to have to pick that up soon, the more I see of it the more I'm liking it. And I must agree, although a lot of people tend to dismiss washes and drybrushes, I'm a big fan of the results you can get if you take some time with them and get the most out of the techniques. Also a fan of the color palette you've chosen. Thanks for sharing.

I hear you on that.  The various bent spears and swords on the Bones models when I got them kind of irked me too.  However if you heat up some water to boiling, take it off the stove top and dip the bent Bones miniatures in the hot water for about ten seconds, and then remove them and let them cool they will revert back into their correct/straight shape (the shape they were intended to be molded to).  You may already know that, but I didn't until I found it online.  Once I tried it on one Lizardman and it worked I went ahead and did it to all the bent up Bones in one big batch.  Of course now that means I have to actually paint all 300+ of them.  :o
