Yes, I was wondering since all I ever read was the Greystoke stuff. Not very pulpy, though of course only because the real stuff was left out...

The 7th and 8th books in the series take place during the great war I believe. Not very historicly accurrate as to events in East africa and as they were written during the war very anti German in tone!But ERB's errors could be corrected on a gaming table.

I'm more of a John Carter man than Tarzan but it is nice to see ERB is still going strong, the only depressing thing is the rate at which Matakishi chews through the projects while I am still trying to paint the figures!

 :o Who cast the beastmen? There was a thread on TMP boards about suitable figures for La and the beastmen. I didn't like any of the suggestions from TMP.

The Beast Men are D&D taers from Ral Partha, they are, of course, out of production. I had 6 already and managed, thanks to the good folk HERE, to find another set on Ebay.

I have some interesting ideas for Crossfire with Tarzan which  will be divulged in the fullness of time...

Lovely !
I always dreamt to make a monkey army, and that's a very nice one. And as everybody, I'm very jealous of your beastmen figs  ;)

I'm a bit dissappointed, both on your beautifull site and on this forum you thank the good folk at Frothers  :(.
But, if I recall correctly, it were the good folks here at Lead Aventure Forum which guided you to the taers on eBay

:D :D :D

OT: great looking figures!, I like the idea of multiple basing but am a bit hesistant to do so (I have some viking).

DJ

@Makatishi
Just remembered: when cleaning out my Ral Partha stuff 3 weeks ago I found 3 tears, on your site you mention you are looking for some more, still interested?
