Malamute,
Lovely figures you have!

I think you mean Matakishi ;)

Are you making their eyes purposefully look glowing, like you are seeing them at night?

Tarzan is mega-cool!
A near-indestructible hero, lost cities, fearsome wild beasts, Nazis, a loyal chimpanzee sidekick ..... what more could you ask for from a pulp game?  lol

I suppose all that's missing from that list would be some form of helpless female.

Thanks to the LPL African bonus round I finally got off my bum and finished this project.
So, here are all the completed units, rules will follow in a day or two.

Tarzan and great apes.

Korak and great apes.

Jane and the Waziri.

The beasts of Tarzan which can be controlled by Tarzan himself or split into units with their own 'guest' commanders.
Forest and river beasts.

Grasslands beast (with Jane and Sheena) including Tantor and Jad-bal-ja

La and the beast men of Opar, allies of tarzan.

The Safari, sometimes a baggage element that needs protection, sometimes an enemy unit of hunters.

details and a recap of the WIP stuff here:

I'm coming late to this thread (as I do to many of the truly great projects, it seems...). Your whole concept and execution are very impressive Matakishi. I enjoyed going through it all on your blog as well- I predict a sharp spike in Tarzan-related figure sales over the next 6 months... ;)

I agree, your ability to come back to and complete this project should give hope and bouy the spirits of the rest of us.  Because of this thread, I found a pack of taers at a con and still have them unopened...lol...some day...

Damn fine looking work.  And after three years off, they all still work together very well.

Looks great! I have my sad half-painted Tarzan giving me the stink eye as well!
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.
