The twin can't make it so it'll be the good looking one.

I am going as part of the team doing the 1940 East Africa Indians vs Italians game.

Currently assembling another 60 Desert Rats this weekend in preparation.

I might need a hotel room close to Salute on the Saturday night, because I fly back to Canada on the Sunday.  There seems little point going back to my Mum and Dads just to travel back over the same ground early on Sunday.  Anyone got any ideas?  I looked at the Ibis but they're fully booked.

The nearest "budget" hotel I could get last week (for the Friday) was Premier Inn in Barking. Not a bad price though. As usual, the marathon being on the Sunday hoovers up a lot of the available rooms.

Ah, the marathon again - that explains a lot.
