Bronze Age Miniatures gladiators
« on: January 19, 2014, 11:28:03 AM »
Does anyone know how Bronze Age Miniatures gladiators scale up against other manufacturers? Ive got a few Black Tree Design and a few shadowforge female gladiators coming for my growing ludis. I LOVE the look of the Bronze Age Miniatures gladiators but im worried they will be far too big.

Those are very nice Gladiators.  However at a stated 32mm from sole of foot to eye, you are pretty much stuck with just them. They would be at least 35mm to the top of the head.  Plus, there are really only three real Gladiator poses.

Nonsense.

Foundry, Foundry, BA.

BA, BA (this guy is a big bastard, and a big integral base besides), Warlord Games

BA in the back row, looks like a tall slim man, right to scale.

They will be fine to all but the most scale-anal of all lanistas. Don't get me started on how stupidly big the Crusader helmets are! If that can be overlooked... ;)

I love BA stuff and they fit well together for the most part.
