Gallery: Teufelsberg. Forest I.

Today  I have for you photos of the first Forest, which is located near the Teufelsberg village.

I built the trees of twisted copper wire and covered it with a wood trowel.

In turn, I sprinkled the tree branches with various types of sprinkles imitating leaves.

I also put elements of ancient heads and ancient hands from Warhead Studio on the forest.

I complemented the whole with various types of sprinkles, pigments and oil effects.

Fantastic work. I do like the aesthetic you achieve with your terrain.

Gallery: Display shelf for miniatures.

Motivated by Wołek Zbożowy, who is hosting the May Miniatures Blog Carnival edition, I started cleaning the display shelf in the attic from dust, with my younger daughter bravely assisting me.

After bringing the Detolf bought in Ikea to such a state, I started taking pictures, and the effects of the difficult fight with poor lighting and a sloping roof can be seen below. The photos show mainly painted miniatures and building models, which appear in the photos. However, since I took the photos with a smartphone, which did not do well in the conditions with photos of unpainted miniatures, you can estimate the size of the pile of shame on the basis of the first three photos, there is still more than just painted things.

In the photos you can also see additional shelves that I installed in the display shelf, some of them are A-Space sale from A-Case, and some are a solution from the Inkub blog -  Wojna w miniaturze, i.e. additional shelves mounted on metal wire clamps.

However, I still can't get myself to install the lighting, but I think that after I have cleaned the shelves from dust and rearranged the miniatures on the shelves, it will be easier for me to finally do it.

Due to their dimensions, models of the Teufelsberg village were placed on non-glazed shelves mounted on profiles to the wall.

On the desk on the other hand, you can see the scenic display in a wooden case for Ostlanders for Warheim FS, which I am currently working on.

And that would be it when it comes to the shelf.

blimey, I've missed a few things haven't I ....  lol  :-*

just the last chap, and lovely work on the shield would be enough to comment admiringly upon ... but then the workspace and dioramas ... just amazing  :o ;D.

any one of them would be worthy of an in-depth post / photo-essay. Marvellous work.
