Those secondary intakes are usually for a primary radiator or intercooler[/nerd]   8)

How many engines does this thing have?
All of them.
Exactly enough for a vehicle this cool...

The model could use a weapon or two, but one can always fire the imaginary MG's...

Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

Hmmm... why does that thing have air intake in the nose and on the belly when it has separate engines on the wings (sucking in the rider's boots)? Am I missing something here?
Hmmm... there's also a bank of 6 exhausts on the nose (V12 in there maybe?), plus something vaguely enginelike behind the rider. How many engines does this thing have?
But it is kinda cool

Dunno, it's Pulp, and it's FAST

All of them.  Rule of Cool in action.

What ALL you rascals said...

Why are the jungle drums throbbing in my brain "Resistance IS Futile"

I need another aeronautical project like I need another neck...

Those secondary intakes are usually for a primary radiator or intercooler[/nerd]

Until we steal & examine the Secret Plans, or abscond with a working example, or a defector delivers one intact, please defer deliberation.
All questions of propulsion and armament must perforce remain the purest of speculation correct?
Even when tempered by careful and judicious photo interpretation, a guess nonetheless.

For shame Ye Men of Science and Engineering...

Yes, the belly intake looks like an air scoop for a radiator, normally used in prop planes with inline or V engines (radials and rotaries usually get air through the nose).

I don't think jet engines use radiators...

It would make more sense if it was running a prop up front. Maybe on the back too, I can't really get a good picture what the stuff behind the rider is supposed to be.

But no big deal. It's not the first non-sensical sci-fi contraption, it certainly won't be the last and it does look cool and not just silly like some other examples...

The rocket bike has arrived so here's some photos to help the debate about how it flies.............

Personally, I think it's rather spiffing!

You, Sir, are a vile...thing!!!

Vade Retro Satanus

The rocket bike has arrived so here's some photos to help the debate about how it flies............

Won't fly AT ALL, until you build it.  And paint it.  And take proper pictures.

One could, I imagine, just fling the parts, and call THAT flight...

The secret Old boy, ain't in leaving the ground, 'tis the return to terra firma such that the kite remains serviceable & operational that's the tricky bit.
Any Devonian ploughboy can prang one, every time, no tutoring needed, or heeded.
Effective re-use of an expensive contraption is always a worthwhile goal, don'tcha think?

Personally, I think it's rather spiffing!

Of course you would.  Must justify the overhasty purchase some how ya know...

Peering gloomily past the blurry bits I must say this does have promise.

DON'T muck it up...
