Werewolves
« on: February 03, 2014, 11:00:51 PM »
Please excuse double-posting this picture from a thread of mine on the VSF board. These figures are part of a company I'm putting together for IHMN. All are from the Westwind Vampire Wars range. My question for users of this board is can any of you recommend a werewolf figure that has a similar style of sculpting and size-wise fits in between the pack werewolves and the great werewolf in my group (needed for an obvious 'second in command').

If that's a 40mm base he is on you might like this Reaper werewolf.

What about one of the West Wind Secrets of the Third Reich weredogs for something noticeably different?

I'd go with the Reaper Werewolve as mentioned earlier.

If you do a search in the Reaper website they have several of a similar design which are all compatible with Westwind.

Thanks for the suggestions - I'll look at some of these at Salute before making my final choice.

the Westwind is nearly the size of a man so for a second in command, it 'll be need something between the big one and the human size....

see that one form Westwind :

the bottom one is greater than a man

Gamezone do some large wolves.

Here's a comparison to one of the West Wind Werewolves. WW in the center and Gamezone on the right.

It is very hard to not reccomend this fellow from the Reaper bones line (as previously shown) - So cheap its ludicrous.

This is my painted version, standing next to a horrorclix figure -

Ill add another vote for the reaper werewolf. I have one of the metal ones but why wouldn't you buy a bones one?

Cheers

I'm using the Westwind Secrets... Werwolves or whatever they are call them with my Lyacon warband. Looks like this:
The werwolves are based on 30mm bases, the Otherworld wolves are based on 40mm bases.

One of my favourites is the Heresy werewolf:

A bit cartoony maybe, but here's my take on him:

Or I'd second the Reaper Bones one, having done two so far myself...
