Insteaad of sorting things out so I can get back to the
'Portable Wargame' like what I am supposed to be doing I decided to splash out 99p for most of a skull and a set of teeth:
Now admittedly, Billie Bones is missing the top of his skull (£5.99 in issue two with brain and eyes) and needs a good paint job but size wise he is not bad:
The figure resting in the nasal cavity is a GW skeleton (well what would you have used
) and stands 2 4/16 inch bottom of base to top of spear (or 5.7cm if you wish to use the new fangled system). This makes the skull just over 9cm from shaved top to the bottom of the jaw.
First thoughts are:
- Build into a cliff face - boring and been done before
- Cut into half behind the 'ears' and build into the ground sitting face up as a part buried bone grave yard
- Leave the top open and create a swimming pool / sacrificial pond
- Splash out the £6 next week and have him grinning at me from the side of the desk
Anyone else have any ideas?
Currently the pond is tops in my mind and buying another one to make the table decoration running a very close second.
