Richard, I look forward to seeing your very inspirational temple done!

Snappy, mine was made in 2003 by the same folks as Richards.

I had Thing 1 & Thing 2 wash all the pieces down and dry. Then I hit them [the pieces of the temple not Thing 1&2  ;D] with all the dark brown primer I had left, and got about 2/3s primed. Well off to the hardware store!

Richard, thanks for your help, I shall start searching! (I have a bid in already on a pyramid!)  ;)

Your post just inspired me, thanks.

They were available in the UK, but it was a good few years ago.
Shaun from the Bunker (on the forum as Bunkergames?) pointed them out to me in a place like B&M Bargains or Poundstretcher. The box wax pretty much identical to the photo.
For pyramids you might also look for Ferero Rocher boxes - they sometimes come in plastic pyramids, but not huge. (Although you can usually give the contents to significant other as a bribe).
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

Excellent project Amalric. Since i was a little boy i have been interested in the ancient Egyptian culture and of course i too have a nice project. Alas it is still all in the mind as i am lacking funds to start it up in a good way. It seems you have lots of fun with that stuff and with a painting team like that you can't go wrong. Good stuff.

Mine came from Kansas City.  ;D
It was listed on Craigs List in December.

Searched for one today online with no luck. Not giving up, I need that set!
There were a few hits when I googled it for wholesellers.
Maybe someone with connections could wrangle a case of 12 and sell them here?
I could use another one.

Amalric, that's the box.  I started painting today, but it is going to be a couple weeks before my temple complex and pyramids are done.  That said, I'm looking forward to seeing them done myself.  One of the great joys of the hobby for me is that I'm always surprised by how these things look once they are done.  Good luck with yours.  Richard

Richard, I never thought of it that way. But it is SO true. I may have a feeling something I'm working on will turn out nice, but I never really know exactly how it will look. I guess that explains why we like to sit and admire something we build as each stage is completed.

The Horus Hawk statues are aquarium decor I got a long time ago.
The small sphinxes are hirst arts castings.
