Lots of beautiful figures on display in this thread...
Castaway Arts in Australia also make a 28mm camel ambulance -- albeit for the less severely wounded, as pictured here:

In case you are interested, here's a link to the Castaway Arts catalogue, where you can click on the "Baggage/Transport" page to see the Camel Ambulance listed:

Thye are on my wants lists.. now if only someone would stock them in the UK!

Oh well... Stuff the co2 ... Order placed , for a couple of these and some other bits

OHMYGOD!  This is wonderful, wonderful stuff.  Totally inspirational and I hear the siren calls of the Lead God calling me into another period....what rules do you use???
"...and as always, we are dealing with strange forces far beyond our comprehension...."

All limitations are self imposed.  Work hard and dream big.

Added in some Camels and riders for the Mahdi/Khalifa - bit of old school stuff that was lying in the lead pile..

6 foot wide mass of Mahdists .. might just be enough to make the square think twice!

Fabulous stuff as ever!!  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Inspirational, which is what I need having completed only 11 Beja thus far!!

In my defence, I have been working on a Burnaby vignette (got to be done) and the Mounted Infantry are all ready saddled up in full technicolour!! Pics will follow shortly, as soon as I can find my backdrop!! Or rather one big enough to photograph the unit as a whole.....

I have completed another 150 Beja to add to the army... now up to 880 foot figues, and 50 mounted - so just another 120 foot and 50 mounted to go and then the main troublemaker will make an appearance on gaming table..

now I am sure you would like to see how the Mahdist forces are looking now
