It been while since I was spinning this plate, anyway the winter 14/15 project is to complete enough Imperial Forces for large game.

So first up here are the recently completed Black Watch - Highlanders by Connoisseur Miniatures

plenty more in the pipeline

I admire your dedication. This is turning into a stunning collection. ;D

I have fond memories of reading and looking at the photos of the olf Peter Gilder collction in the Wargames Illustrated holiday special magazines many years ago. Your pics remind me of that collection :-*

This is a great example of how miniatures en masse have an emerging property of awesome!

While the individual miniatures are not painted like master class stuff the overall look of the mass is just fantastic.

Great job!

Yep spot on... Quantity has a quality of its own... To build a collection with 2000+ figures is going to need some compromises or it will never be finished!

There will be some top end painting on specials to finish .. But this is about getting it done in a Grand Manner initially..

Wow. That is a magnificent force!  :-*  I was just on the fence about adding some Perry Highlanders to my Warlord British for a romp in the Sudan. This has pushed me over to the buy side with a resounding thud.  lol
