How to make a French Foreign Legion fort

Not to long back i was asked to create a French Foreign  Legion fort for a friend, no problem it sounds simple enough to make and it was so if you want to create one i use a miniature figure for the look and measure size of the fort and six days later it was complete, i have put A4 sheets on the website for downloading if anybody want the plans and pictures i also put the fort into two sections that fit together so its much easy to stack in a room.Heres how i did it with making up as i went along.

Very nice result - looks suitably shot up and lived in  :-*

My guess is foam board going by the steps pictures.  They look covered in card on both sides.

Nevermore,

Is the black foam the stuff you get from art shops that's about 80p for an A4 sheet? Very soft stuff?

Great, I bought some yesterday... I'm going to see what I can do with it. Got to finish some painting first though  :)
