How well do Perry and Empress 28mm Italians mix?
« on: February 15, 2014, 10:18:09 AM »
Hi Guys (and gals?)

Just wondering about going all 'East African' and wondering if I can mix Pery and Empress figures to get more varied units?

Cheers

Jules

Empress are larger. I had a lot of Perry Italians, and an Empress field gun; like that they are ok, but side by side it would be noticeable, the size difference. Both are beautiful sculpts!

I think they're pretty close, actually, with Empress very slightly larger but not a problem IMO.  The Perry metal Italians are slightly bulkier than their plastic British adversaries.  If you look at this earlier thread I have posted a comparison pic of Perry, Empress and other metal Italians:

Would work well together. Actually, we are blessed by a number of companies that produce great looking Italians for WW2.

Cheers,
