german 7.6cm pak 36 (r) on halftrack
« on: February 16, 2014, 01:55:25 PM »
Can anyone point me towards pics of german captured 7.6cm pak 36 (r) on the Sdkfz 7 halftrack. Apparently these were sent to the DAK in North Africa.

I fancy doing a couple of these using my hairspray method.

If they turn out well I will stick some pics on here

Do you mean the 7.62cm FK36(r) auf Panzerjager Selbstfahrlafette Zugkraftwagen 5t (Sd Kfz 6);

Yes. Thats the one.

I wanted to get a Russian or German gun and convert a quad flak version from the partworks. I can only find Milicast who make the whole thing in that scale which defeats the idea sort off.

I was hoping someone like Zveda did the gun in 1:72 that I could convert with some plasticard armour.

It's the smaller  sdkfz 6, not a Sdkfz 7 though.

That's correct, thank you.  Sorry Bruce I didn't get to reply sooner.

the size difference is not that great, if you use the airfix 76th scale sd7 it would pass for a 72 scale sd6.
good luck with it and post some pics!
thanks
