Ah, those picts look like the perfect candidates for laying in wait in a dark alleyway with their sicas at the ready! of course with those beards they'd have to be scruffy hired foreigners and not proper citizens.

Lots of good ideas.
Aaron, thanks for the tips on the legionaires. I have some wargames foundry legionaires in tunic that i´m using for the time being, and so far are enough for the project (unless i fall in the caldron)

Eric, i´m using the picts from west wind because they have separate heads and are easy to convert although i have to admit that those from gripping beast are great.
I have some from wargames foundry that might work.
I have to find them and if i find anyone suitable i will post them to give ideas.

Luidinuovo and Prof. Witchheimer thanks for the comments.
Next are still some figures to paint both for the gangers and the roman army, some posted in Eric excelent post In the Streets of Rome.
Some civilians are on the pipeline and also scenery (houses, villa, a roman half built fort/frontier post and some wagons).
Then who knows were the lead madness will take me...

Probably medieval or conquistadores band.

It does Eric.

The only thing that its worring me are the buildings.

I wanted to make a few but by doing them i want them to serve to other periods for a space reason and money of course. That wil be my troy horse on this project.
Ideas are most welcome on this.

I also have the rules you have mentioned but it will take a while before i can convince someone to play with me.

I'll use them too for mine spanish napoleonics scenarii.....
