As an added bonus I found out that "Pigeoneer" ("Brieftaubenmeister") was an actual real specialty designation in the wehrmacht...

Serendipity is a marvellous thing!

Fram, these conversions are absolutely splendid, great work. Now looking forward to seeing them painted.

Strange days... So I finished the first of these three batches back in March, having decided to paint a bunch of civvies and extras while I was waiting for more Nazi bits to arrive in the mail. Then when I started on the second bunch, I seemed to have completely lost all ability to paint at all.

I have no idea what happened, but things seem to be alright now, so I was able to push through and do the second five I'd planned, plus another five besides.

L-R: Copplestone, Copplestone (added pipe and moustache and switched hat to convert from an American adventurer), Antediluvian Miniatures (converted from spear to broom), North Star, and (I think?) CP minis.

The Antediluvian "Shug McClure" mini is one of may favourite minis ever, the sculpting and casting are just so nice, the face is so very very good.

L-R: North Star (head swapped for a converted GW Empire head, plus added flat cap... the heads on that North Star railroad worker pack are really rough), Copplestone, Warlord, Copplestone (slight conversion to replace her modern semi-automatic with a clutch purse), and KKBB (slight conversion to add hat and remove brass knuckles).

I like that the first fellow is ambiguous enough to be used as a labourer, hobo, or gypsy.

L-R: Westwind, Copplestone, Reaper, Copplestone, Westwind. I tried to paint the Copplestone "Mercenary Officer" to be used as a really generic official anywhere in Eastern or Central Europe... Canal lock warden, bridge operator, government inspector, public works manager, minor rural official, etc.

Phew, I feel like this is simultaneous a *lot* of civilians, while still not being close to enough lol... and I had at least this many civvies already.

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

lol I'm glad I'm not the only one who's brushes are refusing to do as their told this month.
Lovely work though and some evocative colour schemes.

Spendid; the three women in the second batch in particular (and all three are very different from each other).

Great work as usual.  Truly love all the conversion work, very inspiring (why didn't I consider adding a pipe before?).  Whenever I feel like my painting is off, i try to do something more uniform (police most recently) so there's fewer things to consider and hopefully not go bad.
