Perry Wars of the Roses
« on: February 18, 2014, 09:22:29 AM »
I just got the WOTR box.  I am in love.   There are a few little things about the set that need some extra attention during assembly but damn, these are sweet.

The blogs on here are amazing.  The stuff Captain Blood has done with his plastics got me really jazzed about building a few of these dudes up and painting them in my own fictional army.

Haven't settled on any cool names or colors yet but I got 8 bowmen built.

The arms can be kinda lose looking to me so I am sculpting the coats up a little around the arms to give it a more attached look and less like multi-part plastic models.

Time to prime...

Welcome to the wonderful world of Perry plastics!
Nifty work with the green stuff by the way - looking forward to seeing your paintwork on those beauties.
Simon.

They've been on my radar for some time. Pics like this are making it harder and hardre to resist.
'Sir John ejaculated explosively, sitting up in his chair.' ... 'The Black Gang'.
