Wow, Eric, those are fabulous. I really like the buildings. That gives me a bit of inspiration! :)

BTW, speaking of Foundry civilians, I've one (I think he's Foundry, got him from Col. Bills) who looks like he's an old balding senator holding his toga. On his right forearm is something that looks more or less like an archer's arm guard. I don't know what it is so I don't know how to paint it. Do you have that figure or do you know what upper class Romans wore on their forearms? I'm not sure if it is leather, bronze, or what.
You go to war with the figures you have, not the figures you wish you had!

Thank you Richard.
That's one of the purpose of my blog : give inspiration and taste to everyone !
About your fig, do you have a picture about it.
I don't remember this kind of figurine does exist in the foundry roman range.
I have some reference that are not in their web site from their civilians range.
May be yours is coming from them.
The arm guard is unknown for me. Except in the hollywood movies where you can see it everywhere, even ben hur (c Huston one) got one.

Cheers
Eric

Sure, here he is; half painted.

Not sure what that is on his right forearm and wrist nor what color it should be.
