In the 2 major threads that are running on these Gangs of Rome, I see that the OPs are scratchbuilding their own buildings to line the streets. However, I do not have these skills nor do those I will game the scenarios with. Can anyone tell me of manufacturers in 25/28mm for suitable buildings? I am aware of Grand Manner and Najewitz Modelbau but the former are quite exxy and the latter not suited to the insula I want for the starting point of the great unwashed. Grateful for any assistance.
Cheers,
Poiter50

What type of buildings are you searching for?
You already have the two greatest manufacturers of roman buildings.
There are others (buildings) that may suit your wants.

I'm really looking for something preferably 3 stories/levels to provide accom for the plebs/generic population as distinct from the villas of the rich and powerful of comfortably well off. Also looking for market places or agora style.

Coming from CRISIS 2014 in Antwerp. Great show !

And i found this pack in the Foundry stand :

Not in their web site, so i think they have some trouble in their business plan (as the disorder in their stand....).

CVI O18 Roman Ambassador

2 politicians, 1 officer, 2 soldiers and 1 one box of coins

Good sculpting.

3 level building could be too expensive and the homemade scratchbuilding are the best and not so difficult way to fit the job for a street fight project. The light weight of the constructions are a good point too  ;)

I've now downloaded the Roman Seas Apartments/shops which come in 1/300th scale and will take one of the sheets to my local office supplies shop to have it enlarged to approx 28mm and use it as a template for a foam board building or two.

Yes, able to buy through Wargames Vault which is where I got the Apartments which consist of more floors/levels. not just villas or barracks.

Eric, many thanks for the offer.
Sooner or later i will have that pack.
Its a pitty that they have some lovely packs simply not pictured in their website.
I was abble to get some ancient spanish to complete my army with packs never seen in foundry.
Many of us sometimes get some surprises about miniatures we havent seen before and are more perfect for our collections/ideas.

There are 5 or 6 ancient iberians packs in total from that range.
Lovelly miniatures although some where transformations from the roman civilians. ;)
