The League Of Predictable Evil frighten some woodland fauna
« on: February 12, 2014, 09:39:45 PM »
Finally my first proper Pulp Alley post, I cobbled together a league, & last Sunday, had my first game. What can I say of the carnage that followed, other than I loved it! Despite The League of Predictable Evil (hereafter to be known as TLoPE) being unable to knacker my opponents rampaging gorilla the game was a blast.
Here they are, in all their badly photographed glory...

The fauna shall hunt you!

The abyss is infinite and thus absurd.

Ballardian, great looking bunch you have there.
Very evocative of the spirit of pulp.
They look like they're getting ready to meet Captain America!

The gorilla is very nice as well.
Thanks for sharing.

This looks really good, do you have any photos of the game in progress?

No pictures from that game Lord Snapcase, but I'll certainly try to take some useable snaps of the next one, & thanks Phipps, if any are useable (we play in a pub function room whose lighting could kindly be described as crepuscular, don't get me wrong, it's a good club with a good bunch of people, but I occasionally fell the need for a headtorch) I'll certainly submit them to the 'Phantom Agent' promo.

I promised some pics of the next game that TLoPE were involved in & here they are, sorry that there are only a few & that they're a bit crap.
The game was a three way featuring TLoPE, Dr. How's Bastion of Science & elements of the 23rd Foot & Mouth (with another first time player at the helm). Due to Psuedopod's (hello Bryn) & my own mighty previous experience of a single game, plus a completely new player, it was a fairly slow affair, but no less enjoyable for it.
Bloody vengeance was extracted on Dr How's primate companion early on, with the furry fiend going down in a hail of hot lead after trying to claim the major objective.
A three way firefight erupted, with Dr. Hows minions taking a beating from both sides. meanwhile my own mad doctor, Hugo Von X (sorry for the direct lift from Secrets of the Third Reich/Incursion) having a drag out punch up with a tall (some would say 'Statuesque') redhead who eventually punched his ticket.
The game finished with all players having grabbed a minor plot point (in fact someone got two, but I can't remember who at the moment) & the triumphant TLoPE sitting on the major plot point at games end.
I will attempt to be more organised next time & document the game properly (& figure out how you put pics in the text instead of at the end so that they can be appended with witty apercus - or more likely sarcasm & smartarsery).
