Does anyone do Hungarian troops and vehicles in 28mm?

To the best of my knowledge, no. Use Great War era late War Austrians or even Germans?

Commission or convert I'd say.

My mystical source tells me to use WW1 Germans instead, since they're similar.

Another one of those cases of it not being fair or representative, but rather there's just not enough demand for WW2 Hungarians for manufacturers to think it is a sound financial decision to make them.

I'd love to see some Hungarians, but as Cubs says, sales would probably be small.

For some late war, 44-45, I guess you could even use normal german infantry? And they did have some german armour, Hetzers, Stugs, Panzer IVs.

Late WW1 Germans wont work, a number of noticeable differences. You coukd use rifle armed germans in greatcoat as long as the gas mask cylinder is missing...

As for vehicles, all available in 20mm, doubt anyone will do a Toldi or Csaba anytime sone let alone the Hungarian trucks.

Might try that and then have them use German vehicles for support.

Have a look at Bolt Action Italy and Axis Allies book. I know it has Hungarian armour in it, as I painted it all! I also did the Italians, Bulgarian, Finnish and Romanian armour too.

Admittedly it is German and Russian vehilces. I think the Humgarians used T26s too, which you can get in 28mm from Warlord or Empress.

Gorgon do a nice 10th Mountain regiment from the Polish army with the 1915 pattern helm. German figures will do as the Hungarians also used the 1935 helmet.

Warlord are working there way through other nations so maybe?

Hope this helps.

Been looking for more information on the Hungarian army myself.  This link might give you some ideas for suggested 28mm figures.  Not an english speaking forum (Hungarian) but gives photos and manufacturer details.
