Lovely brushwork Phil :)

Good work and a nice layout, too.

Beautiful painting! Very nice! If ever you run short of things to paint let me know. I've got an ECW lead mountain that'd love a paint job of this quality :)

As an aside- Interesting choice re coat colour. I'd always thought Pennyman's had blue coats. Cost colours are always the subject of huge controversy ( some have argued grey for Pennyman's and someone had even suggested red). If you've got anything saying green let us know. It might be another of those ECW geek "Rosetta Stone" moments! One of the great frustrations and joys of the ECW as a period is the frustrating lack of info just when you need it! (As well as some of the myths that still circulate.......)

Thank you for the kind comments. Hav'nt a clue re. the coat colour, I was sent the flag with the figures and for want of any definate info either way went for green to match the flag. In fact according to Haythornthwaite the wavy piles are gold, confusing or what?
