How big is that thing?

Rule #1 of scratchbuilding: all spaceships are scaleless until you add windows or doors.

As for size, I'm going to take some guesses at materials for some visual cues.
1) The bars on the side of the wing/fin look like plastic sprue offcuts, which are typically 4"-6" wide
2) The front end, and side just behind the wing/fin, look like PVC pipe end caps, of about the same size.
3) The thick material for the wing could therefore be 1" thick insulation foam.
4) The bottom cannons probably came from a toy; something like G.I.Joe/Star Wars figure would be consistent with the above sizing. If it's HotWheels/Matchbox car size, that would match up with about 1/2 the above sizes, which is also plausible.
5) Judging by the background (the garage door and free-standing power tool), I'm assuming the model's flight stand is either free-standing on the floor (!), or on a table, but given that we can't see the surface, I'd say that rules any kind of tiny model.

Ok, to the questions:

Hatemonger has it right, it's scaleless, but I will be adding windows and some interiors. Scaleless because it's a toy build. After you see some parts, it becomes apparent that there really isn't enough space for everything.

How big?
19" Long, 4" in Diameter, The base it stand on is 7.5" v 7.5" (because the large model category it will be entered in says an 8"x8" max base

)

It is for 28mm figs and yes there will be interior parts...

Still a lot left to do on the Bridge and the ship as a whole. I am thinking of trying to add a "Flight Operations" room above the hangar, but we will see.

LOVE IT!

You had me at spaceship...

19" is an impressive size, but when I saw the box with dials on stand behind, I almost thought multiple feet!

Having seen six foot long Star Destroyers at one GenCon, I just can't be sure.

For right now, not sure about the bridge, but is just beginning. Tend to like them more organic to the design, mind you.

Keep wow-ing us!

Oh, and Chris (Ravenstar) makes far more appearance on The Miniatures Page and Starship Combat News. Most of his stuff is for vaccheads like moi, and we have our own space there.

But I need to give some credit for the design. I didn't realize the Frigate design was not immediately recognizable to some readers. The Frigate is built to match the ships from the Disesho Confed faction from Ravenstar's "Cold Navy" line. There is no specific ship like my Frigate, but the design concept with the offset flying bridge is not original.

If you like my design, there is a whole fleet like 'em.
