Rogue Trader - the battle of Nittin
« on: March 02, 2014, 11:56:38 AM »
I flew up to Edinburgh to visit some mates and squeezed in (both in the luggage sense and the time sense) a game of rogue trader between my Sensei Warband and my chaos renegade Warband. An epic battle was fought, the kind that should see super humans being thrown through buildings and levelling small mountains (well maybe foothills). Here are a couple of pics to whet your appetite.

Great report! I really enjoyed reading it. I thought Van Zant was going to pull it out in the end.

Very nice report. Lovely to see an old gem getting played still.

Those card subterranean passages look interesting, where are they from?

@ Area23 - The heads are by maxmini, really nice pieces. http://maxmini.eu/conversion-bits/head-swaps/fallen-legionnaire-heads-bits

@Modhall - The passages are proper old school as well

 lol
I can remember playing WFR in those same caverns.

Nice AAR, enjoyed it a lot. Some cool head swaps to bring new life to some of those figs too.

I'm looking forward to your next installment, the pull of all the OldHammer stuff is strong, I'm tempted to dunk my old Ally Morrison Imperial Army figs into the brake fluid and start over on them. It's just that there's so much other stuff that's never even had one PJ, and those figs have already seen three or four. It doesn't seem fair some how. lol

Cheers for the comments guys. It was the only the second time my mate and I had played against each other in 25 years (the other time was part if my stag weekend in October - also on my blog) and I reckon games like that are bound to get him lured back into this mad hobby! Two old beard herders having fun with toy soldiers is what it's all about!
