X-Wing: Satellite and Space Debris WIP
« on: March 05, 2014, 03:39:37 AM »
Recently got in to FFG's X-Wing miniatures game.

Wanted to do some obstacles for the game board besides the usual asteroids. Decided to do a satellite and a piece of destroyed ship hull.  Satellite and hulk are assembled from a bunch of bits - miniatures, plastic toy/model parts, craft, jewelry, and electronic junk/scrap.

I've since painted both pieces;  need to take some pics and get them posted. Almost sorry I painted the sat, it looks pretty sharp just in bare metal...

Excellent work. I agree with you that your satellite looked better before you painted it. If you ever build another try painting only the plastic bits or using more metallic paints. Still I think its a great deal better then some flat marker.
