I pretty much called this (I think on another thread or my blog) "The year of super mini gaming" between Pulp City, SS4, Games and Gears city board, etc....yea loving me some figs....

Now I just have to see what is going on about that "other Kickstarter" if that messes up my plans for other figs to merge in.

Scott,

Guessing you missed it. But can you answer my question on page one when you can. I always loved the many creations in minis that came out with the original rules. Curious to know if this will expand more with the new set of rules.

Ugh, I know... was hoping to use a few of those myself...

But on the bright side I purchased devil's knight and minions looking forward to painting those.

Question will there be pre done 4 color heroes?

Aside from Major Meteor in this pre-KS promo, we're going to focus this campaign on the book and the rules.  I cannot say 100% either way if there will be new miniatures after that.  I have some folks interested in working with me on it. I have to see how this KS goes.

Right now my focus is squarely on the book and the rules.

As to write-ups of the existing SuperFigs, the official characters, the answer is yes.  Once the KS starts and we're into layout of the book, I will start in earnest on a PDF supplement to go with it that has the characters stats. And other stuff.

More on this as we go along.

Thanks!

That would be good.  I have more Superfigs and Lance and Laser supers than I will ever need - especially since I have 15 mm supers to paint - heck, than I will ever paint, much less use.

While I enjoy taking a figure and changing the back ground to something "original" in a game setting, especially creating a thematic group, I like to have the original stats in case someone wants to play the figure/team as "standard" in the rules.

Gracias,

Glenn

I appreciate that as a concept, but I think it will really limit the amount of backing you will be able to pull in, and thusly the grand total. People like "stuff" for their pledges, and are more willing to go big when they feel they're getting more "stuff."

I do understand this, but at this point, I am about producing rules.  My last KS involved miniatures, terrain, dice, prints, and it about killed me.  When it all comes down, I am a one-man gang with a little help on the side.  Essentially, there's me and two buddies.

That's Four-Color Studios.  And I work 54 hours a week too. No sympathy required; these are first world problems for sure, but I know my limits, and I am not sure offering a raft of new miniatures with this KS would allow me to also deliver the sort of high quality rule book I am after.

But all that said, I am closing no doors!  We shall see.

Aren't rules "stuff" too?   :)

I think you can run a KS without "bribing"  ;) people to support it (and some of us don't want more miniatures in various scale strange as that seems.)  Yes, if he included 15 mm miniatures I might be more tempted but that would depend a lot of how they looked stylistically (which varies from individual to individual) but it is [strictly IMO] the rules that drives games.

To me it is a bigger deal (Having had computers and multiple varieties of "backup" fail) that I have a choice of Printed/PDF (though I almost certainly will pick both.)

Gracias,

Glenn

Hi!
Looking forward to 4th ed. and the kickstarter campaing  Cheesy

Any chance that - as a stretch goal or additional buy-in, we could have some custom goal dice?

I was thinking some thematic goal dice with icons such as "POW","Ka-POW"and "MISS", would really add flavor to the games.

thanks

regards
Thomas

Something like 1to 3 replaced by Miss, 4 and 5 with POW, and 6 with Ka-Pow for example?

Brain is tired already...

Gracias,

Glenn
