Shapeways aircraft
« on: March 11, 2014, 02:17:52 AM »
I have gotten around to finishing my first 2 shapeways aircraft.  First up is one of my favorites, a Fokker Eindecker III.

It is supposed to be painted up as an Austro-Hungarian Aircraft in early 1916.

Next up is an Italian Nieuport 10 fighter.  It was a stop gap aircraft.  They tried to make a fighter by covering over the observer's seat and mounting a lewis gun over the wings.

I thought that the paint job came out to dark but some comments on my blog have me rethinking that.
