A new model from profilic Kris Van Dijck

Whoa!

That fellow does some amazing work. If he were to do an expanded WWI line, I would buy definitely do two scales for WWI gaming (28mm and 12mm). Lack of overall detail is the single biggest reason I jumped ship from 10/12mm. I liked being able to fill a table with bases and figures, but the inconsistent quality of figures on the market was more than my little heart could bear!

Was the machine gun really moved between 2 firing positions? If so, why wasn't the front position placed in the center of the rear compartment, so that the gunner and loader could fire the gun in a 360 degree arc? Just thinking aloud.

That is impressive.
The people behind Saga and Muskets and Tomahawk have a ruleset called '1914' in preparation (based on the early battles) and aimed at this scale. I know which army i'll buy !

Let me explain that Chris does not sculpt these by adding putty or so, he crafts it like a stonecutter would, by taking away what he does not need.
