Stone Henge terrain cheap
« on: March 12, 2014, 08:18:28 AM »
Attention terrain hunters.  Hobby Lobby in the US has some neat Stonehenge polystone/resin pieces in their "Spring Shop" home and garden section.  The pieces are labeled as "mini-garden" accessories.  The stonhenge dolmens (terminology?) are packaged separately and are $6.99 but they are 40% off this week if you want to nab them.  I got mine for $4.19 each.  There are also some other useful looking rock and stone structures.   I measured them at 4 3/4" tall X 4" wide.  A figure based on a 25mm circle fits in the middle with room to spare.

I am sans camera at the moment but This guy has the same ones on his blog.  I hope he doesn't mind my linking to them (he has done a fine job rebasing them in the post below).

This is my boomstick!

I get so much of my scratch built terrain materials from there, I never thought to look in their garden department!

Also, there is ALWAYS an online coupon for 40% off one item. Google hobby lobby coupon and you'll find it. I have it bookmarked on my smart phones browser and just show it to them at check out...

Never has blue foam been used so well. Very nice!

How many battles have been fought over those stones?

And nice idea to check out decoration section at Hobby Lobby from dave.
