Russian railway lines
« on: March 18, 2014, 02:38:22 PM »
Planning for a Big Game, and I want to offer up some railway action, not least 'cos I have a box of stuff I want to roll out.  ;)

Q: Were RCW era railway tracks single or double ?

If single, I assume there were sidings and so on facilitate trains going both ways.

Just asking, before I order some S Guage track pieces.

TIA.

You can not go wrong in any case. There were two options. But more was single track. On small patches double track on which the train could disperse.

I didn't read the english version of the wikipedia article, but when I read the german one a while ago I thought it was quite interesting!

Where are you sourcing the 's' gauge from?

I haven't decided yet, but a quick google and I've got some options in the UK, more in the US.
Hence asking the question so I know what to buy and not waste any money.

Thanks for the replies so far.  :)
