Cracking work :)
OK, one last time. These are small... but the ones out there are far away. Small... far away... ah forget it!

It's a bit of a mix, with the main building being a palace or temple.  It's so I cam use it for 40k as well

Great project.  Can't be a proper sietch since the inhabitants are obviously sloppy with their moisture seals. lol. Nice terrain for real.
This is my boomstick!

Done a bit more work on it.  Just trying to work out what colour to paint the floor?

Also working on some other desert type buildings, not sure what colour for the doors on these.

A reddish brown for the floor color maybe as tiles, would look good I think :)

I was thinking some kind of marble or sandstone.

Whatever you pick it should have some sort of pattern or tiling!

All the minis shown are a fanmade "hobbyproject" of AndyW (just search him).

You can find more painted samples on my site: http://www.adpublishing.de/html/desert_world.html.
He offered the minis for a short time at his BOF website which is now defunct.
But as saif above, maybe you can still get some by PMing him.

Stunning work Agis. Too bad the fellow doesn't carry on with the project. I've always loved Dune and the books have survived numerous purges of mine. Too good not to read again and again.

Use masking tapes! They work wonders with sprays, whether airbrush or spray cans. You can get Frog brand which allows zero bleeding at paint shops (like house painting, not hobby painting) and it will ensure crisp tile work. Can't go wrong!

Haven't done anything with the project in a long time but after fixing the pictures in this thread (FU Photobucket) I have started work on a Guild Navigator

Oh, we will work parallel on the same projects. The pope mobile is next on my schedule too. I'm very interested in your results. Lets see, who will finish it first.

Finished the Navigator, not up to sniperjack's standard but I am happy with him.
