Thanks for the interesting game report. I'm looking back to the good 'ol Days we had when playing LotOW ourselfs. Unfortunately I had never got the chance to grab the rulebooks myself (that's why I swapped to Dead Mans Hand recently).

Your Gaming table looks amazing. I love all these custom made buildings.
Especially this scene looks fantastic. You can actually smell the gunsmoke in the air!

Great Report; I like your town, especially the Saloon.

Thanks for posting.

With our big game planned for the middle of August, Schitte Creek is once again on my to do list. I've more than enough stuff to have a decent game but want as much flavour in the town as possible. On my to do list is a bank, a gunsmith, general store, an extra gang for players without minis to use, various scatter terrain bits and maybe even a train and track. Whatever I get done this next month is a bonus. I started this week by quickly making some cacti scatter terrain for the outskirts of the town and finally painted up the second of the Battlefield in a Box badlands rocks.

Lovely cacti. How'd you make it?
Cheers,
Jim.

I didn't make the cacti, I just based them and painted them, made was probably the wrong word to use. Though I will be attempting to make my own. The multi based ones are from an imex Alamo set and Pegasus hobbies cactus set. The individuals are from Great Escape Games.

I wish they didn't cancel that Badlands line...I'd have really liked a handful more of those (and I have two each of the large ones). :'(

Me too  :'( they're really great and I'm lucky to have found 1 each of the large ones and the smaller rocks in my local hobby store a few years ago. I'd definitely buy another set of each if I could.

Agreed.  I snagged one of the small rock sets and really would have liked more.  Oh well, perhaps in time.  Seems a waste to get rid of a mold like that.

A couple of quick paint jobs, ahead of next months game. My lawmen needed a more appropriate sheriff to lead them and this one I bought about 8 years ago with the intention of leading my lawman posse! Finally he gets a lick of paint. The cowgirl is the first of six for an additional gang for new players to use.

Nice new additions, Mr Bukkit!
 :-* :-*

I share your feelings about the Badlands Rocks: I wish that I could get more small ones too.

And seeing your cacti makes me think that I need to make more bases of my own.
My meagre three bases just does not feel enough now.

Haha  lol thanks. I was panicking that I wouldn't have enough terrain for a bigger table so hastily based up all my cacti with the intention of having a more desert area on the table with all the rocks and the adobes, keeping the false fronted buildings for the main town side.

I finished this preacher this morning. I should be painting other things but at least I'm being distracted within this genre and not one of my other projects.

Where did you get the Everret Hitch figure?
It's nothing, sir. Just a burn from a ray gun.
