Painted up my first unit of the gorgeous Aventine 2nd Cen Roman Auxiliaries and next up will be a unit of Legionaries.

Cool stuff! I like the combination of iron helmet and bronze cheekpiece on that guy in the second line, a nice "battle repair" look.

Cheers guys. This army painting lark is a hard slog for someone who normally only paints up armies for skirmish game ha. Ive enjoyed this so far.
