Repainted 1/54 Tiger
« on: June 29, 2008, 02:55:58 PM »
Working on the German Vehicle Compendium for World at War at the moment, I decided to re-paint my Ripmax RC Tiger...

Before:

After

Hopefully you agree that after is better...   ;) ;) ;)

Indeed I agree. That sand tone looks far more realistic than the white winter paint.

The conversion is great!

Airbrush?

Sponge?

Brushes?

Marvy work.

Marvy work.

Except the airbrush all of it.
1st removed some flash lines from the kit.
Then serious wash (mixture of black and brown).
The some red-brown rust stains painted on with a brush.
Then some Tamiya weathering powder with a small sponge.
Then some edge highlighting with a brush.
DONE! :)

I must say Agis, you do paint extremely well.

Those who have such capacity make it seem easy.

Bravo!

Thanks.
