Seeking inspiration for Reaper Charon
« on: April 02, 2014, 02:36:16 AM »
I just purchased the Reaper Charon (Dark Heaven Legends).  I don't have any real use for the piece, but I've always like it, and I got it at a good price so I bought it.  Unfortunately, Reaper didn't post a painted example of one that I could use to get my painting juices going so I was hoping some of you might have the piece painted and might be willing to share your work on it as an inspirational offering.  Thanks.  Richard

That's a beauty and probably all I should need to be inspired, but I would really like to see a couple examples of what people have done with the Reaper version of the Charon/boatman.  Thanks passing this one along.  Much appreciated.  Richard

A lovely piece indeed. It has had my fancy for a long time but havin no direct need for it, i decided to put my meagre funds towards something useable. Nevertheless again a great miniatures by Reaper.

Thanks again.  That is the piece.  I've seen this one before.  It appears to be the only painted Reaper Charon that pops up when I google the item.  The overall black and is probably more appropriate than the previous one you sent but the previous color scheme is more to my liking.  That said, I really appreciate your help with this and if you or someone else run across any other samples I'd love to see them.  Richard

Legion1963, I am in the same boat you are with regard to the Reaper Charon.  I really like the piece but have not plan for how it will be incorporated with the rest of my stuff, but when I had a chance to get it for $5 under the listed price, I decided to buy it and hope a plan will come.  Richard
