Great stuff. I like the Hoplomachus with the crested helmet. ;D

They have a certain comic book style which reminds me of Spartacus, Gods of the Arena(without the boobies ;))

Keep em coming.  :)

Much better seeing these properly outfitted with the right stuff. Nicely done.

Thank you guys. 35mm Figures are definitly more easy to paint than 28mm ones. It was a great pleasure.

I like these better than the Brigade/Paul Hicks models.  How are the Jugula rules?

For some reason I'm still unsure about the figures but the painting job is very nice, well done, Craig!

Thank you !
The rules are pretty, very smart. I love the carreer system, as an old Bloodbowl player, I find again the pleasure to follow my characters, gamae after game.
Last but not least, Jugula is not a game based on the luck ! Counting the cards and remembering which cards were played, it is enough easy to know what will happen.
My wife loves the game more than me : she wins very, but very often !  >:( I must play more concentrated...  ;)

@Prof. Witchheimer : at the beginning, I was not motivated for that 35mm figures, but when I saw them in real, I needed them ! Great job of the sculptor, and great pleasure to paint. And they are modulable, you can make a lot of different gladiators with an only kit...

Nice paintjob Craig!
The figures look good too but there are so many 'unhistorical' items I probably won't be buying them for myself.
In that respect the 28mm Paul Hicks figures seem much, much better.
Panic, Chaos and Disorder. My job here is done

I made mine the more historical as possible with the items in the kit...Protections are strange on that figures, some are missing, others are too many...I'm waiting for the next four figures, hoping that there will be a Sagittarius...I have one in my Familia, but not the figure...

Hello all

Craig, those gladiators are very nice indeed. :-*
Excelent paint job.
Maybe the "problem" of 35mm is that we are afraid of starting all over again on a new scale.
They seem not to fit with 28mm but nevertheless they are great figures.
Keep it going. :)

Cheers

I think it's not a matter, considering that the game needs only 4-6 figures per player...So, for 40€ you get a "familia" with unic figures (they are modulables) ! And that is priceless for me ! ;)
