Great looking figures!  :-*

As per your question: Very nice looking color but quite strong on the green side. I would say that is an attractive color for early war figures' tunics. German wool became less and less natural, virgin wool and more and more recycled and man made fillers or pulps. The fabric tended to dye into a grey-er/browner color as the fabric quality increasingly decreased over the years.

Another item for thought: often, the paint manufacturers' fieldgrey paint is actually a RAL match for fieldgrey paint and not fieldgrey uniforms. This paint was applied to items such as helmets and mess tins. Check to see what color you are using and see what the manufacturer described their color as.

I like that green colour!

Thanks a lot to everyone  :)

Thanks for your answer CorvetteK225, i will try to paint some darker fieldgrey.

Left and right are from Crusader and the centre figure is made by Artizan Designs.

Just mix them in and do slightly different shades throughout your army and you will probably achieve what the more ragtag look of an army over the months/years and the slightly piecemeal nature to the uniforms they would have seen.

 :o :-* :o

I think they look great… It might be my computer screen, which usually show darker pictures than they really are, but I think the are perfect, not too green at all (at least for the early war period). which color did you use?
